Slapovi Krke - Trogir - Sibenik
In the beautiful natural environment the river Krka forms the picturesque waterfalls that pour into 17 waterfalls and natural barriers. This is the place where the beauty of the national park is expressed in the continuous play of the sun and water.
The visit of the famous Skradinski buk, which is the ideal place for bathing in the clean water, and taking photos in the paradise surroundings. Going back, for the guests from Makarska and islands, it is possible to organize the visit of the ancient town of Šibenik and of the famous cathedral of Trogir, which is a part of the UNESCO list of the world heritage because of its cultural sights and historical monuments.
This locality includes the most attractive part of the Krka National Park.
The sightseeing cruise to Skradinski Buk and back lasts approximately
2 hours and includes the following:
a walk on footpaths and bridges along the cascade formations, a visit to the presentations included in the entrance fee (sightseeing of the mills with expert presentations and demonstrations of the ethnological collection, stamping mills, rollers and weavers’ workshop, and souvenir shop, buffet etc.)
Your visit to Skradinski Buk continues with a boat trip operated by the Public Institution of the Krka National Park, from the upper wharf of the Krka River to the island of Visovac or Roški Slap, for an additional fee.
The excursion to Visovac lasts two hours and includes the following:
- a ride along the upper part of the Krka River,
- a visit to the Franciscan monastery and
- a visit to the church and museum, together with sightseeing around the small island for a half hour.
