Neretva delta photo safari

We offer to you an unforgettable experience – a photo safari through the Neretva delta. Let us take you on a ride in “lađa”, the traditional boat of the Neretva valley, through hundreds of channels on which the ancient Greeks, the Illyrians and the Romans used to sail, and where the pirates of Neretva began their attacks on enemy ships.

On leaving the lake Kuti you will find an additional part of our offer: Neretva House, which you can only reach by water. Here, away from the tumult of civilisation, you will experience moments which only our forefathers used to know, who definitely knew how to make use of all the gifts of nature they found in their surroundings.

The tasting of delicacies from the Neretva, prepared in a traditional way in an authentic ambience, is an unforgettable experience. After this you can rest in such complete silence as only nature can create, and in summer you can find refreshment in the lake.

As part of the trip we also organize a visit to the Ornithological collection in Metković which is unique by the fact that all the exhibited birds were caught in the Neretva delta. The collection includes over 340 exhibits of 230 examples of various bird species. Although there are several ornithological reservations in the Neretva valley, some of the birds can now only be seen in the Collection.

Apart from the Ornithological collection, we will take you to the archeological site of the ancient city of Narona in Vid. Narona was the second largest Roman city on the east Adriatic coast, but it also received influences from the Greek and the Illyrian culture.
