Crveno i Modro jezero
Red and Blue lake
Very slow drive and sightseeing the Adriatic Coast and Dalmatian Zagora to Imotski. Visiting the Red and Blue Lakes, the phenomenon of the rocky soil that was named after the colour of the water.
The lake amphitheatres are several meters deep. It is interesting that every ten years, in the draught period they are completely dry and at the bottom of the Blue Lake football matches are played. Very short stop and leaving to Mostar, the town of the mixed cultures and influences. It is famous for its architecture from the Turkish Empire, in the centre of the city.
Stari most (Old Bridge) built by the builder Hajrudin in the 17th century, is especially pointed out. The bridge was destroyed completely in the war in 1993, but is completely reconstructed under the UNESCO control and opened to public in 2005. It is possible to pass through the souvenir shops in the old centre and to have lunch in the traditional restaurants.
Returning in the afternoon. Experience of the marvelous sunset on the Biokovo, the highest mountain of the Croatian Coast, and have an unforgettable view of the nearby islands, and, if the sky is clear, of the Italian coast. Returning to the hotel in the evening.
